The Canadian International Air Show (CIAS) took place in Toronto from September 2 to 4, 2023. It was the 74th annual edition of the show and featured a highly acclaimed international lineup including the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and the Royal Canadian Air Force Snowbirds. The event was held along Toronto's waterfront, offering spectacular aerial demonstrations over Lake Ontario from noon to 3 p.m. each day. The Blue Angels made a much-anticipated return to Toronto for the first time since 2009, delivering thrilling high- speed maneuvers and formations, while the Snowbirds also performed their iconic aerial displays. The show included 14 aerial demonstrations, featuring other solo aerobatic acts and heritage flights. More than a million spectators attended the event, which is renowned as Canada’s largest and longest-running airshow. The show also incorporated a VIP experience with exclusive access and amenities, as well as free general admission seating along a 14-kilometer waterfront stretch.
