Among the notable attendees was Olena Zelenska, the First Lady of Ukraine, who urgently seeks Melania Trump's attention to draw awareness to the plight of Ukrainian children affected by the ongoing conflict with Russia. Olena Zelenska arrived with a vital mission to highlight the abduction of thousands of Ukrainian children by Russia since the war started in 2022, emphasizing the urgent need to resolve this crisis quickly. Despite Melania Trump’s gesture of greeting, there is no formal bilateral meeting arranged yet between the two. Zelenska’s cause is pressing, as she warned it could take 50 years at the current pace to return the abducted children, stressing that these children "cannot wait a lifetime." Melania Trump's coalition includes spouses or equivalent representatives of heads of governments worldwide. The coalition will hold its inaugural meeting at the White House in early 2026 and aims to bring together efforts to prioritize children’s development at the intersection of technology and education, promoting safety in advancing technologies like AI, robotics, and blockchain. Queen Rania of Jordan is also a supporter of this coalition and was present at the launch event alongside Zelenska.
