Charlie Kirk, the late conservative activist, is set to be memorialized on U.S. currency through a new House Republican proposal. Two Republican lawmakers, Representatives Abe Hamadeh of Arizona and August Pfluger of Texas, have introduced legislation called the Charlie Kirk Commemorative Coin Act. This bill would direct the U.S. Treasury to mint and distribute 400,000 silver dollar coins featuring Kirk's portrait on one side and the phrase "Well done, good and faithful servant" on the other. The coins would also bear Kirk's full name, the year 2026, and the U.S. motto. If passed, this would make Kirk the youngest American ever to appear on U.S. currency. The final design of the coins would be subject to approval by the Treasury Secretary and President Donald Trump. These coins would be considered legal tender and minted at no cost to taxpayers, funded through sales to collectors.
