Cody Carnes is an American contemporary Christian music singer, songwriter, and worship pastor. He began his solo music career in 2017 with the debut album "The Darker the Night / The Brighter the Morning." His second album, "Run to the Father," released in 2020, was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album. He is known for the single "The Blessing" with Kari Jobe and Elevation Worship, which won the GMA Dove Award and received Grammy and Billboard Music Award nominations. Carnes has also released a live album titled "God Is Good!" in 2022 and is married to Kari Jobe, with whom he has two sons.
