Drew Carey, the host of "The Price is Right," lost a significant amount of weight in recent years. He went from a size 44 pants to a 33-34 by cutting back on simple carbs, snacking on fruit, and drinking lots of water. Careys old diet, which consisted of pizza, corn, beans, and starches, has been replaced by healthier choices, including grilled chicken and steamed vegetables. He also stopped drinking coffee, tea, and soda, and now drinks only water. Careys weight loss regime included "lots of cardio" on daily workouts, doing at least 45 minutes of cardio each day. Carey set a goal to lose close to 90 pounds by November, dropping from a high of 262 pounds at the start of the year to around 170. He lost 80 pounds since January 2010 and no longer needs medication for type-2 diabetes.
