• A 7-inch single record cover measures approximately 7.25 inches by 7.25 inches (18.41 cm by 18.41 cm)

• A 10-inch record cover, used less commonly, measures roughly between 10.1 inches and 10.62 inches square (25.7 cm to 26.9 cm)

The 12-inch cover is the most common for full-length albums, allowing ample space for artwork and information about the album
