Angie Stone, the Grammy-nominated R&B singer, died in a car crash near Montgomery, Alabama, on March 1, 2025. She was traveling in a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van back to Atlanta from a concert when the vehicle flipped over and was subsequently struck by a large commercial truck. Stone was the only fatality in the accident, while other passengers survived and were treated in hospital. She was 63 years old at the time of her death.
