To know what version of Windows you have, use one of these simple methods:

1. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog, type "winver" and press Enter. This opens a window showing your Windows version and build number.
2. Click the Start button, go to Settings, then System, and scroll down to About. Under Windows specifications, you will see the edition, version, and build number of Windows installed on your PC.

These methods work for both Windows 10 and Windows 11.
