To use Apple Pay, follow these steps:
Setting Up Apple Pay
- Open the Wallet app on your iPhone.
- Tap the + button in the top right corner.
- Choose Credit or Debit Card and tap Continue.
- Use your iPhone camera to scan your card or enter the details manually.
- Verify your card by following the prompts, which may include receiving a verification code from your bank.
- Once verified, your card will be added to Apple Wallet and ready to use
Using Apple Pay in Stores
- If your iPhone has Face ID, double-click the side button; if it has Touch ID, double-click the Home button.
- Authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.
- Hold the top of your iPhone near the contactless payment reader until you see "Done" and a checkmark.
- To pay with a different card, tap your default card on the screen and select another card before holding it near the reader.
- You can also pay using an Apple Watch by double-clicking the side button and holding the watch near the reader until you feel a tap and hear a beep
Using Apple Pay Online or in Apps
- When checking out in apps or websites that support Apple Pay, tap the Apple Pay button.
- Confirm your billing and shipping details.
- Authenticate the payment using Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode on your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, or Mac.
- When payment is successful, you will see a confirmation on the screen
Apple Pay works wherever you see contactless payment symbols or the Apple Pay logo, including stores, restaurants, gas stations, taxis, apps, and websites
