To screen record on an iPhone, follow these steps:
- Add Screen Recording to Control Center
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Scroll down and tap Control Center.
- Find Screen Recording in the list of controls and tap the green + icon to add it to your Control Center
- Start Screen Recording
- On iPhone X or newer, swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen to open Control Center; on older iPhones, swipe up from the bottom
* Tap the **Screen Recording** button (a circle within a circle). A 3-second countdown will begin, then the recording starts. The status bar or Dynamic Island will turn red indicating recording is active
- Record with Audio (Optional)
- To record your voice or external audio, long press (or press and hold) the Screen Recording button in Control Center.
- Tap the Microphone icon to turn audio recording on or off. Then tap Start Recording
- Stop Recording
- Tap the red status bar, Dynamic Island, or red highlight at the top of your screen and then tap Stop.
- The screen recording will be saved automatically to the Photos app
