In contrast, MR allows digital objects to be anchored in the real world and to interact with real-world objects in real-time, creating a seamless blend of the physical and virtual worlds. This enhanced integration is made possible by advanced technologies such as spatial computing, environment sensing, and sophisticated tracking, which enable the digital content to respond to changes in the real environment and behave according to physical rules. For example, in MR, a virtual chair placed in a room can be viewed from different angles and interacted with just like a real chair. MR devices, such as Microsoft HoloLens, feature advanced sensors and cameras that allow this interactive experience, whereas typical AR devices, like smartphones or basic AR glasses, primarily overlay static or limited-interactivity content.
