The shooter was approximately 130 meters (about 143 yards) away from Charlie Kirk when he fired the single lethal gunshot that hit Kirk in the neck during a campus event at Utah Valley University. The shooter fired from the rooftop of a three-story building that gave a clear line of sight to Kirk.
