The AP Microeconomics exam is 2 hours and 10 minutes long. It consists of two sections:

• Section I: Multiple-choice with 60 questions, lasting 1 hour and 10 minutes (70 minutes).
• Section II: Free-response with 3 questions, lasting 1 hour, which includes a 10-minute reading period.

The multiple-choice section accounts for about 66% of the score, and the free- response section accounts for about 33% of the score
