These subsidiaries include well-known brands such as GEICO, Fruit of the Loom, Duracell, Dairy Queen, and Oriental Trading. The conglomerate also controls BNSF Railway, one of the largest freight railroad networks in North America. Additionally, Berkshire Hathaway has controlling interests in many other companies, with the total number of subsidiaries and controlled entities reaching into the hundreds. Most of these companies are 100% owned, though some, like Berkshire Hathaway Energy, are owned at about 91.1%
