There are currently four Dexter shows in the Dexter universe:

1. The original Dexter TV series, which aired from 2006 to 2013 and consists of 8 seasons totaling 96 episodes.
2. Dexter: New Blood, a limited sequel series that aired from November 2021 to January 2022.
3. Dexter: Resurrection, another sequel series that premiered in July 2025 and is planned to have multiple seasons.
4. Dexter: Original Sin, a prequel series released between December 2024 and February 2025.

Additionally, there is a prequel spin-off series based on the Trinity Killer that is in development.
