As of 2025, there are 12 Disney theme parks spread across six resort destinations worldwide. These resorts are located in:
- California, USA (Disneyland Resort: Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park)
- Florida, USA (Walt Disney World Resort: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom)
- Paris, France (Disneyland Paris: Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park)
- Tokyo, Japan (Tokyo Disney Resort: Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea)
- Hong Kong (Hong Kong Disneyland Resort: Hong Kong Disneyland Park)
- Shanghai, China (Shanghai Disney Resort: Shanghai Disneyland)
So, while there are 12 parks, they are grouped in six different Disney resort locations worldwide. Additionally, there is a seventh resort announced in Abu Dhabi, UAE, not yet operating as of 2025. Among these parks, six are often called "Disneylands" or "castle parks," with castles as their iconic centerpiece.
