Delilah has raised a total of 15 children throughout her life. This includes 3 biological children and 12 adopted children. Additionally, she is a stepmother to five children from her husband's side

. She has experienced the tragic loss of three sons: Sammy, who died in 2012 from complications related to sickle cell anemia; Zachariah, who died by suicide in 2017; and her stepson Ryan, who died of a drug overdose in 2019

. Despite these losses, Delilah continues to care for her large family.
