There are currently eight Transformers movies in total:

1. The Transformers: The Movie (1986) – an animated film set in the original G1 continuity.
2. Transformers (2007) – the first live-action film directed by Michael Bay.
3. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009)
4. Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011)
5. Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014)
6. Transformers: The Last Knight (2017)
7. Bumblebee (2018) – a reboot/prequel focusing on Bumblebee.
8. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (2023) – a sequel to Bumblebee introducing new factions.

Additionally, an animated origin film, Transformers One, is set to release in 2024, which will bring the total to nine films

. The films are divided into two main continuities: the original Michael Bay live-action series (the first six live-action films) and the newer reboot/prequel continuity starting with Bumblebee and continuing with Rise of the Beasts and Transformers One
