The minimum age requirement to be elected President of the United States is 35 years old. This is stipulated in the U.S. Constitution, Article II, Section 1, Clause 5. Additionally, the candidate must be a natural-born U.S. citizen and have been a resident of the United States for at least 14 years to qualify for the presidency.
