To block a contact on an iPhone, you can follow these straightforward steps:
- Using the Phone app:
- Open the Phone app.
- Go to the Contacts tab or Recents if you want to block a recent caller.
- Find and tap the contact or the info icon (ⓘ) next to the number.
- Scroll down and tap Block this Caller.
- Confirm by tapping Block Contact.
- Using the Messages app:
- Open the Messages app.
- Select a conversation with the contact you want to block.
- Tap the contact's name or number at the top.
- Tap the info button.
- Scroll down and tap Block this Caller , then confirm by tapping Block Contact.
- Using the FaceTime app:
- Open the FaceTime app.
- Tap the info icon (ⓘ) next to the contact or number.
