To clear the Roblox cache, the method depends on your device:
On Windows PC
- Press Win + R to open the Run dialog.
- Type
%Temp%\Roblox
and press Enter. - Press Ctrl + A to select all files, then right-click and choose Delete to remove them. This deletes temporary Roblox files without affecting your account or game data
- Alternatively, you can navigate to
%LocalAppData%\Packages\
and delete the Roblox folder to clear cache
On Mac
- Press Shift + Command + G.
- Enter
~/Library/Caches
and press Return. - Find and delete Roblox-related cache files in this folder
On Android
- Go to Settings > Apps > Roblox.
- Tap Storage.
- Select Clear Cache to remove temporary files
On iOS (iPhone/iPad)
- iOS does not allow direct cache clearing.
- Instead, go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage.
- Find Roblox , tap it, then choose Offload App. This removes cached data but keeps your game data.
- Reinstall Roblox afterward to complete the process
Notes
- Clearing the cache does not delete your Roblox account or game progress.
- It helps improve performance, fix lag, and resolve loading issues by removing outdated temporary files.
- After clearing cache, Roblox may take slightly longer to load initially as it rebuilds fresh cache files
This process is safe and recommended if you experience Roblox lag or glitches.
