To clear the Spotify cache, follow these steps based on your device:
On Desktop (Windows or Mac)
- Open the Spotify app and click your profile name or image at the top right.
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down to the Storage section.
- Click Clear cache next to the Cache option.
- Optionally, if you want to free up more space, you can also click Remove all downloads to delete offline music (this will remove downloaded songs)
On Android
- Open the Spotify app and tap the Settings icon (gear) at the top right.
- Scroll down to Storage.
- Tap Clear cache.

- Open Finder , then go to Go > Go to Folder.
- Enter

. - Find and delete the folder named like
com.spotify.client
. - This removes local cache files and may sign you out, so you will need to log in again
Clearing the cache only removes temporary files and does not delete your downloaded music unless you choose to remove downloads separately. This can help fix performance issues or free up storage space on your device
