Discord “Checkpoint” is the new year-in-review / recap feature (like Spotify Wrapped) that shows your 2025 Discord stats, and you don’t “do” it so much as open it once it’s available on your account.
How to open Checkpoint
On desktop (app or browser):
- Update Discord to the latest version.
- Open Discord and look at the top‑right corner of the app for a small flag icon next to your inbox.
- Click the flag; your Checkpoint recap will start playing.
On mobile:
- Update the Discord app to the latest version from your app store.
- Open Discord, go to the “You” tab (bottom right) or tap your profile picture, then tap the Checkpoint banner you see there.
If you don’t see Checkpoint
- The rollout is gradual, so it may take a few days to appear for everyone.
- If you have very low activity, Discord may not generate a recap for you.
- In Settings → Privacy / Data & privacy, make sure “Use data to personalize my Discord experience” is turned on; if it was off all year, you won’t get a 2025 Checkpoint.
What Checkpoint shows
Checkpoint highlights things like:
- Total messages sent and time spent in voice channels.
- Your most active servers, top games, and most‑used emojis.
- Who you messaged the most, plus an option to share a summary card in chat if you want.
If you tell what device you’re on (PC, iOS, Android), a more step‑by‑step guide can be given for your exact layout.
