To do double spacing in Google Docs, follow these steps: On Desktop:
- Open your Google Docs document.
- Highlight the text you want to double space, or if you want to double space the entire document, click anywhere in the document without highlighting.
- Click on the Format menu at the top.
- Select Line & paragraph spacing from the dropdown.
- Click on Double to apply double spacing (2.00 line spacing) to the selected text or the whole document
On Mobile (iPhone, iPad, Android):
- Open the Google Docs app and your document.
- Tap the pencil icon to edit.
- Select the text you want to double space.
- Tap the A icon at the top right to open the formatting menu.
- Tap Paragraph.
- Next to Line Spacing , tap the up arrow until it shows 2.00 (double spacing)
