To do screen recording on an iPhone, follow these steps:
Enable Screen Recording in Control Center
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Go to Control Center.
- Scroll down to More Controls and tap the green + button next to Screen Recording to add it to your Control Center
Start Screen Recording
- Swipe down from the top-right corner of your screen to open Control Center.
- Tap the Screen Recording button (a circle within a circle). A 3-second countdown will begin
- After the countdown, the recording starts. The status bar or the time indicator at the top of the screen will turn red to show recording is active
Record with Audio (Optional)
- To record your voice or other audio, long-press or press and hold the Screen Recording button in Control Center.
- Tap the Microphone icon to turn the microphone audio on or off.
- Then tap Start Recording to begin with audio enabled
Stop Screen Recording
- To stop, open Control Center and tap the Screen Recording button again, or tap the red status bar at the top and confirm to stop.
- The video is automatically saved to your Photos app
View and Edit
- Open the Photos app to find your screen recording.
- You can view, edit, and share it like any other video
