To fast travel in Red Dead Redemption 2, there are primarily two methods:

1. Fast Travel from Camp (Unlock Required)

• After completing the fifth mission of Chapter 2 ("Money Lending and Other Sins"), you unlock the camp ledger behind Dutch's tent.
• Use the ledger to upgrade Dutch's lodgings for $220, which encourages gang contributions.
• Then upgrade Arthur's tent for $325 to unlock the fast travel map.
• Once unlocked, the fast travel map appears on the side of Arthur's wagon in camp.
• Interact with this map to select any previously visited location and fast travel there on your horse.
• You can also fast travel from any temporary camp you set up in the wilderness by resting and selecting the fast travel option.
• This fast travel is free after unlocking the map upgrade

2. Fast Travel via Public Transport

• Use stagecoaches or trains located in towns and settlements.
• Purchase a ticket at the station or stagecoach stop to travel to another town.
• This method costs money but allows quick travel between locations you've already visited

Additional Tips

• You cannot fast travel directly from anywhere on the map; it must be done from the camp or a temporary camp.
• The fast travel map is located on the back side of Arthur’s wagon, often opposite his sleeping area.
• If you have trouble setting up a camp to fast travel from, try setting it up through Arthur’s inventory items menu
