To group elements in Canva, follow these steps:

Grouping Elements on Desktop

1. Select Elements
   • Click and drag your cursor over the elements you want to group, or
   • Hold down the Shift key and click each element individually to select multiple items.
2. Group the Elements
   • Once selected, a floating toolbar appears. Click the Group button on this toolbar, or
   • Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + G (Windows) or Command + G (Mac), or
   • Right-click on the selected elements and choose Group from the context menu.
3. Move or Resize as One
   • The grouped elements will now move and resize together as a single unit

Grouping Elements on Mobile (Canva App)

1. Tap and Hold an Element
   • Tap and hold the first element you want to group to bring up a menu.
2. Select Multiple
   • Tap Select multiple from the menu, then tap other elements to add them to the selection.
3. Group
   • Tap the Group option on the floating toolbar to combine the selected elements

Ungrouping Elements

• Select the grouped elements, then click or tap the Ungroup button on the floating toolbar, or right-click and select Ungroup to separate them back into individual elements

Additional Tips

• You cannot group grids or charts directly in Canva due to software limitations
