How to Increase Battery Capacity in TOTK
- Collect Zonaite Ore : Zonaite is a turquoise sparkling ore found mainly in the Depths (underground areas). Mine as much Zonaite as you can. You need 3 pieces of Zonaite to craft 1 Crystallized Charge
- Convert Zonaite into Crystallized Charges : After completing certain quests, you will unlock access to a Forge or Crystal Refinery where you can trade Zonaite for Crystallized Charges. Before that, you might need to return to the Great Sky Island to trade with a Zonai Construct
- Trade Crystallized Charges for Energy Wells : Head north of Lookout Landing to find a Crystal Refinery with a Steward Construct. Give 100 Crystallized Charges to this Construct to receive 1 Energy Well upgrade. Each Energy Well adds one-third of a battery meter
- Battery Upgrade Limits : You can upgrade your Energy Cell up to 21 Energy Wells total, which equals 8 full batteries (each battery has 3 wells). To fully max out, you need 2,100 Crystallized Charges (equivalent to 6,300 Zonaite)
- Supercharging Energy Cells : After maxing out the 8 batteries, you can further upgrade each Energy Well to a supercharged blue cell by using additional Crystallized Charges, effectively doubling your battery capacity to 48 Energy Wells
- Temporary Battery Boosts : You can also consume Zonai Charges directly to temporarily extend your battery beyond its maximum, but this is a short-term boost and consumes the charges
