To open an incognito tab for private browsing in Google Chrome:

• On a computer, open Chrome.
• Click the three-dot menu icon at the top-right corner.
• Select "New Incognito window" from the dropdown menu.
• Alternatively, use the keyboard shortcut:
  • Windows/Linux/Chrome OS: Press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mac: Press Command (⌘) + Shift + N
• A new window will open in incognito mode, indicated by a dark title bar and the incognito icon near the address bar.

On Android devices:

• Open the Chrome app.
• Tap the three-dot menu at the top-right.
• Tap "New Incognito tab."

Incognito mode prevents Chrome from saving browsing history, cookies, site data, or information entered in forms during that session. However, activity might still be visible to websites visited, employers, or internet service providers. To exit incognito mode, simply close all incognito windows or tabs.
