To remove the "Important" tag from a Microsoft Teams message before sending it, you can simply toggle the important mark off. When composing your message, if the "Important" icon (an exclamation mark) is highlighted in red, click it once to remove the "Important" status. Then send your message normally. If you have already sent a message marked as important, you cannot directly remove the tag. Instead, you need to delete the message and resend it without marking it as important. This is because Teams does not currently allow editing the priority label on a sent message to undo "Important"—you must delete and re- send it without the tag. Keyboard shortcut to toggle "Important" on or off while writing a message is Ctrl + Shift + I. Summary:
