To report a problem on Instagram, you can follow these steps: Reporting a Technical Problem or Bug:
- Open the Instagram app on your phone.
- Navigate to your profile by tapping your profile picture at the bottom right.
- Tap the three-line menu icon at the top right, then select Settings.
- Scroll down and tap Help , then tap Report a Problem.
- You can either:
- Choose Report a Problem and describe the issue, attaching screenshots if needed.
- Or, while on the screen where the problem occurs, shake your phone. This will bring up a pop-up to report the problem directly with a screenshot of the current screen.
- Submit the report, and Instagram will review it to help fix the issue
Reporting Abusive Content, Spam, or Violations:
- Go to the post, profile, comment, or message you want to report.
- Tap the three-dot menu (⋯) near the content.
- Select Report.
- Follow the prompts to specify the reason (e.g., hate speech, nudity, spam, harassment).
- Instagram will review the report and may notify you of the outcome
This process works for both app bugs and content violations. For further assistance, you can also visit Instagram’s Help Center on the app or website for detailed guides and troubleshooting tips
