To sign out of Facebook, follow these steps depending on your device: On the Facebook mobile app (Android or iOS):
- Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) or your profile picture on the home screen to open the menu.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the menu.
- Tap "Log Out."
- Confirm by tapping "Log Out" again if prompted.
- If your profile still appears on the login screen, tap the ellipsis (three dots) at the top and select "Remove Profiles from this Device," then remove your profile to fully log out
On the Facebook website or desktop:
- Click the account menu icon (usually your profile picture or arrow) at the top right corner.
- Select "Log Out" from the dropdown menu.
To log out remotely from other devices:
- Go to Facebook account settings by clicking the gear icon.
- Navigate to "Password and Security" or "Where You're Logged In."
- Review the list of devices where your account is active.
- Select the devices you want to log out from and choose the "Log Out" option to remove your account remotely from those devices
