To sign out of one Google account on a desktop or laptop, follow these simple steps:
- Open any Google service in your web browser, such as Google.com, Gmail, or Google Drive.
- Locate your profile picture or initial in the top right corner of the page and click on it.
- In the dropdown menu that appears, click the "Sign out" option.
This will sign you out of the current Google account on that browser. If you have multiple accounts signed in, the others will remain active unless you choose to sign out of all accounts
. If you want to remove the account entirely from the device, you can also choose "Remove account" after clicking your profile picture, which deletes the account from the device but does not delete the Google account itself
