To turn on the activity status on Instagram, follow these steps:
- Open the Instagram app and go to your profile.
- Tap the three lines (menu) in the top right corner.
- Select "Settings and privacy."
- Scroll to the section called "How others can interact with you."
- Tap "Messages and story replies."
- Tap "Show activity status."
- Toggle on "Show activity status" to enable it.
When this is turned on, people you follow or who message you can see when you were last active or if you are currently active on Instagram.
