To turn on Find My iPhone, follow these steps:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top to access your Apple ID settings.
- Tap Find My.
- Tap Find My iPhone.
- Toggle on Find My iPhone.
- Also turn on Find My network to locate your device even when it’s offline.
- Optionally, enable Send Last Location to have your iPhone send its location to Apple when the battery is critically low.
- To ensure accurate location tracking, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services and make sure Location Services is turned on for Find My iPhone.
This setup allows you to track your iPhone if it gets lost or stolen, lock it remotely, or erase its data to protect your information
. If you want friends or family to see your location, you can also enable Share My Location in the Find My settings
