Typing the letter ñ depends on your device and operating system. Here are the most common methods:

On Windows

Using Alt Code

1. Make sure Num Lock is on.
2. Hold down the Alt key.
3. Type 0241 on the numeric keypad for ñ (lowercase).
4. Type 0209 for Ñ (uppercase).
5. Release the Alt key, and the character appears.
