To unblock someone on Facebook, follow these steps based on your device:
On a Computer (Desktop Website)
- Go to Facebook.com and click the arrow-down icon in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings & Privacy, then click Settings.
- In the left menu, click Blocking.
- Under the "Block Users" section, find the person you want to unblock.
- Click Unblock next to their name.
- Confirm by clicking Confirm or Continue.
- Note: After unblocking, you must wait 48 hours before you can block the person again
On the Facebook Mobile App (iPhone or Android)
- Open the Facebook app.
- Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) — bottom right on iOS, top right on Android.
- Tap Settings & Privacy, then tap Settings.
- Scroll down to Audience & Visibility and select Blocking.
- Find the person you want to unblock and tap Unblock next to their name.
- Confirm by tapping Unblock again.
- The same 48-hour wait applies before you can reblock them
On Facebook Lite or Mobile Browser
- The steps are similar: access the menu, go to Settings , then Blocking , and unblock the desired person with confirmation
