To unrepost a video on TikTok, follow these steps:
- Open TikTok and locate the video you want to unrepost.
- Tap the arrow icon (share button) in the bottom-right corner of the video to open the Send to menu.
- In the menu, tap the gold "Remove repost" option at the top-left corner.
- Confirm the removal if prompted.
This will remove the reposted video from your followers' feeds as a repost, and it will only appear naturally through TikTok's algorithm if at all. There is no limit on how often you can repost or unrepost a video.
If you want to find all your reposted videos easily, you can go to your TikTok profile, tap the tab with the circular arrows icon (repost icon), where all your reposted videos are shown. From there, you can select any reposted video and remove the repost by following the above steps.
In some cases, if the "Remove repost" option is not visible (for example, if the original creator disables reposts later), you might try blocking the creator or other workaround methods, but typically the above steps work well for unreposting videos. This method works both on iPhone and Android TikTok apps.
