You can vote for your favorite American Idol contestants in three ways:

• Online at AmericanIdol.com/Vote : Register or sign in on a supported browser, select your favorite contestant, assign up to 10 votes per contestant, and click Save to submit your votes. Voting is available for viewers 16 years or older located in the U.S., Puerto Rico, or the Virgin Islands

• Using the American Idol app : Download the official app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, create an account, sign in, go to "Go to Vote Now," select your contestant, assign up to 10 votes, and save your choices

• By SMS text : Text the number corresponding to your favorite contestant (displayed during performances) to 21523. You can vote up to 10 times per contestant via text. Standard message and data rates may apply

You can vote up to 10 times per contestant per method, allowing a total of 30 votes per contestant across all three methods each voting period. Voting typically opens during the East Coast broadcast and closes early the next morning
