Mij was transported to England by being packed into a small box that was not more than eighteen inches square. Since the British airline to England did not allow animals on board, Maxwell booked a flight to Paris on another airline and then from Paris to London. The box containing Mij was kept on the floor at Maxwell's feet during the flight. This method was insisted upon by the airline for transporting Mij to England.
