There is no way to completely turn off the "Liquid Glass" effect found in iOS 26 and similar Apple OS versions, but you can effectively disable it by reducing the transparency, which makes the screens opaque and greatly diminishes the Liquid Glass effect.

How to Turn Off Liquid Glass Effect

• Open Settings on your device.
• Scroll to and tap Accessibility.
• Navigate to Display & Text Size.
• Enable Reduce Transparency by switching it on.

This will remove the translucent, see-through look and make the interface solid and easier to read across areas like the Home Screen, Lock Screen, notifications, Control Center, and more. You can additionally use settings like "Increase Contrast" to sharpen visuals further. These steps apply to iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch running the latest OS versions with Liquid Glass design. This is currently the best way to "turn off" Liquid Glass since a full disable option is not yet available in settings.
