Judith Eva Barsi, the child actress from films like “The Land Before Time” and “All Dogs Go to Heaven,” was killed in a murder‑suicide committed by her father.

What happened

Judith died in late July 1988 at age 10 when her father, József Barsi, shot her and her mother, Maria, inside their home in the Los Angeles area. After killing them, he doused their bodies and parts of the house with gasoline, set the home on fire, and then died by suicide with the same gun in the garage.
