The Las Vegas Festival Grounds is a premier open-air venue located on the northern end of the Las Vegas Strip in Winchester, Nevada. It spans approximately 37 acres and has a capacity to accommodate up to 85,000 people. The venue features multiple stages, outdoor pavilions, 400 permanent restrooms, a 7.5-acre dedicated transportation area, and various food, beverage, and retail vendors. It is a sought-after location for large-scale events such as music festivals, concerts, cultural celebrations, and corporate gatherings. The Festival Grounds are situated north of Circus Circus Las Vegas, at 311 W Sahara Ave, and are easily accessible by walking, rideshare, and the Las Vegas Monorail. There is no direct access for passenger vehicles, and parking is not available on-site. The transportation lot for drop-off and pick-up is located at 810 Circus Circus Dr, across from the Circus Circus Hotel and Casino. Notable events hosted at the venue include the Intersect Music Festival, ACM Party for a Cause Festival, iHeartRadio Music Festival, Day N Vegas Music Festival, Martha Stewart Food & Wine Festival, and the annual When We Were Young Festival. The venue is also recognized for its great ride share experience, clean restrooms, superb sound quality, and excellent food and drink options. In 2025, the When We Were Young Festival is scheduled for October 18-19, featuring popular artists and bands from rock and alternative music genres. The Las Vegas Festival Grounds was developed by MGM Resorts International and opened in 2015. It was originally branded as the MGM Resorts Festival Grounds before being renamed. In 2019, Phil Ruffin purchased the venue along with the neighboring Circus Circus hotel and casino.
