To enable Secure Boot in MSI Click BIOS, follow these steps:
- Enter the BIOS setup by restarting the computer and repeatedly pressing the Delete key during boot.
- Navigate to the Advanced tab, then go to Windows OS Configuration.
- Change the boot mode from CSM to UEFI. Save changes and reboot the system.
- Re-enter the BIOS using the Delete key, go back to Advanced > Windows OS Configuration.
- The Secure Boot option will now be available. Enable Secure Boot.
- Save changes and exit BIOS. The system will reboot with Secure Boot enabled.
Additional notes:
- TPM (Trusted Platform Module) can also be enabled under the Security tab in Trusted Computing if needed.
- If Secure Boot options are grayed out, ensure the system is in UEFI mode, not legacy BIOS.
- After enabling Secure Boot, check Windows system information to confirm that Secure Boot is active.
These instructions apply generally to MSI motherboards with Click BIOS versions 1 to 5 and help ensure Secure Boot is properly enabled for security and Windows 11 compatibility.
