To turn on Secure Boot in Windows 11, follow these steps:
- Check if Secure Boot is already enabled:
- Search for and open "System Information" on your PC.
- Scroll down and find "Secure Boot State." If it says "Off," you need to enable it.
- Access UEFI/BIOS settings:
- Go to Settings > System > Recovery.
- Under "Advanced startup," click "Restart now."
- After the PC restarts, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > UEFI Firmware Settings > Restart.
- Alternatively, restart your PC and press the BIOS key (common keys are Delete, F2, F10, F12, or Escape) during startup.
- Enable Secure Boot in BIOS:
- In the BIOS menu, look for the "Boot," "Security," or "Authentication" tab.
- Find the "Secure Boot" option and change it to "Enabled" or "On."
- Save the changes and exit the BIOS.
- Verify Secure Boot is turned on:

Note: Your BIOS must be set to UEFI mode (not Legacy) for Secure Boot to be enabled. Most modern PCs from 2012 onward support this and have Secure Boot enabled by default. If Secure Boot is disabled and the BIOS is in Legacy mode, you may need to convert your system to UEFI first.
