In Canada, students generally enter their Grade-12 year when they are 16 or 17 years old, and they generally graduate high school at 17 or 18 years old. In Israel, students typically begin their twelfth grade when they are about 17 years old. In Italy, twelfth graders are often 17-18 years old, but on rarer occasions, they can be 19 years old. In some states in the US, students who have ESE services can go to school until the age of 22.
