Ichigo Kurosaki is a fictional character in the anime and manga franchise Bleach by mangaka Tite Kubo. He is the main protagonist of the series and a tough high school student who has gained the various abilities of a shinigami. Ichigo is a human who is also a Substitute Shinigami, the son of Isshin and Masaki Kurosaki, and older brother to Karin and Yuzu. He possesses the ability to see spirits and eventually gains the power to fight against evil spirits called Hollows and send good spirits, wholes, to a dimension known as the Soul Society. Ichigo appears in the Bleach anime television series, four anime films, two original video animations, rock musicals, several video games, light novels, and the 2018 live-action film. He is voiced by Masakazu Morita in Japanese and by Johnny Yong Bosch in the English dubbing.
