Its important to note that you may not be able to disable government alerts in some countries or regions. Also, in the United States, when your iPhone is connected to a carrier, you can enable Test Emergency Alerts, which are alerts that test the National Wireless Emergency Alert System. These alerts are only sent during critical emergency situations and cannot be turned off.
