Super effective charged attacks are regular charged attacks that target an opponents weaknesses. These attacks can deal increased or critical damage due to the differences between the attacking Pokemon and the Pokemon receiving the damage. For example, if a Water-type Pokemon uses a Water-type attack against a Fire-type opponent, it will deal super effective damage as Fire-types are vulnerable to Water-type attacks. To perform a super effective charged attack in Pokemon Go, you need to ensure that the Pokemon you have out in the field during battle is of a type that the Pokemon you are facing is weak to, and that the move you are performing with that Pokemon is of a type that is super effective against the opponent.

Here are the steps to perform a super effective charged attack in Pokemon Go:

1. Know which types are super effective against other types in Pokemon Go. Niantic has previously shared a type chart that can be helpful to learn.
2. Head into a battle in the game, such as a Gym Battle or Raid Battle, where you can use charged attacks.
3. Use a Pokemon that has super effective moves against the opponent.
4. Build enough energy to use a charged attack. Charged attacks can only be used when you have collected enough energy from using fast attacks in a battle. You will know when a charged attack can be used because the attack button will slowly fill up.
5. Tap the charged attack button once it is available and follow the directions to achieve an "Excellent" charged attack in Pokemon Go.

It can be difficult to land a super effective charged attack as you need to be lucky enough to have a Pokemon on your team that is super effective against your opponent, and you wont always have one.
