There are 16 highly urbanized cities in Metro Manila. These cities are:
- Manila
- Caloocan
- Las Piñas
- Makati
- Malabon
- Mandaluyong
- Marikina
- Muntinlupa
- Navotas
- Parañaque
- Pasay
- Pasig
- Quezon City
- San Juan
- Taguig
- Valenzuela
In addition to these cities, there is also one municipality, Pateros, that is still part of Metro Manila.
